Safari is a new, interactive digital magazine from Africa Geographic. I was a little skeptical at first that I would enjoy reading a magazine online, but the cool multimedia features have really won me over. For example, you can hover over a photo for capture details or captions and get direct links to relevant web content for travel arrangements or more information. (It also doesn’t hurt that they will be featuring an article of mine in the next issue!)

The May/June issue featres a teaser for my upcoming article about hiking Mt. Nyiragongo on the back page.
